Nutri Quest


Commit, Do it, and be Confident : 200 Points


Challenge: Share an award you’ve achieved outside of school.  


Top tip!: Make sure you continue being a healthy hero outside school too by joining a club and when you achieve share it with the whole school.


Why?: Joining a club or competing outside of school shows your commitment to a sport as well as keeping you active.



Set-Ready-Go : 100 POINTS


Challenge: Take part in a competition against another class.


Top tip!: Practice your skills in the run up to the competition to give you the best chance of victory.


Why?: Competing against others means that you can really push yourself to your limits. It can really motivate you to become an even healthier hero!



Set-Ready-Compete : 150 POINTS


Challenge: Take part in a school team which competes with other schools.


Top tip!: Make sure you always volunteer for any team’s that come up and put in the work to show that you deserve a place on the team.


Why?: Competing against others means that you can really push yourself to your limits. It can really motivate you to become an even healthier hero!



Run a Mile : 200 Points


Challenge: Run a mile every day for a half term.


Top tip!: Make sure you warm up properly and are wearing trainers when running your daily mile.


Why?: Running and jogging is an excellent exercise. It improves your fitness, clear your mind and improve your well being.



Active Lunchtime : 50 POINTS


Challenge: Plan and run a lunchtime club for younger children.


Top tip!: Is there a sport of active activity you really love doing? Share that passion with younger children and get them active too.


Why?: This will keep you active mentally and physically right in the middle of the day and you’ll be all fired up for an afternoon of learning.

Challenge: Write an article for the school newsletter about an after-school club.


Top tip!: Have you had an amazing time at an after school club? Do you wish everybody knew about it? Well why not tell everyone about it!


Why?: Your article will show just how much you love sport and may inspire others to join the club.

Challenge: Plan and run a lunchtime club for younger children.


Top tip!: Is there a sport or active activity you really love doing? Share that passion with younger children and get them busy too.


Why?: This will keep you active mentally and physically right in the middle of the day, and you’ll be all fired up for an afternoon of learning.



Be Better Version Of Yourself - Inspire : 100 Points


Challenge: Become a Young Leader and share your skills with younger children.


Top tip!: Speak to your teacher or the teacher in charge of PE in your school. They will love your enthusiasm.


Why?: Sharing your skills and passion for the sport will encourage younger children to keep active and love the sport too. It will also keep your active and healthy and you’ll feel great inspiring others.



Powerful Minds : 50 Points


Challenge: Share your ideas about after-school clubs or equipment.


Top tip!: Speak to your teacher or the teacher in charge of PE in your school. They will love your enthusiasm.


Why?: You have loads of wonderfully powerful ideas. Why not share them and change things to get people more active in your school.



Share It With Others : 100 Points


Challenge: Write and upload a match report.


Top tip!: Have you just seen the most fantastic match? Do you need the share the highs and the lows? Do you wish everybody had seen how great it was? Well, why not tell everyone about it!


Why?: Your match report will show just how much you love a sport and may inspire others to watch other matches.



If You Love It Share It : 100 Points


Challenge: Write an article for the school newsletter about an after-school club.

Why?: Your article will show just how much you love the sport and may inspire others to join the club. 

Tweet Tweet : 150 Ponts


Challenge: Write a tweet for your school’s Twitter account about a club or sporting event you have been to.


Top tip!: Remember tweets need to be short but have a lot of information in them. Can you keep it to just 280 characters? 


Why?: All the parent’s following the school’s twitter will love seeing how active and sport obsessed everyone is, and you may encourage others to join you at the club or event. 

Positive Vibes, Be a Promoter : 150 Points


Challenge: Promote a sporting event that you love.


Top tip!: You can share this in loads of ways; in your class, in an assembly, on the school newsletter or school’s Twitter account. Tell everyone how great it is and why they should come along.


Why?: You’ll encourage more people to come along and join in. This will result in more active people which means more healthy heroes.



Nutrition First Step To Greatness : 200 Points


Challenge: Make a healthy snack or meal and tell us about it.


Top tip!: There are loads of healthy recipes on the NutriTroops website use one of those.

You can share this in loads of ways; in your class, in an assembly, on the school newsletter or school’s Twitter account. Tell everyone how great it is and why they should come along.


Why?: You’ll encourage more people to eat healthily at home, and you will be fueling your body correctly.



Diet Shouldn't Be Boring At All : 100 Points


Challenge: Make a poster about making healthy choices to put up in the dining hall. 


Top tip!: Show how much you know and encourage others to eat healthily by creating an eye-catching an informative poster. Be creative!


Why?: You’ll encourage more people to eat healthily and make the right choices. 

Lead By Example : 150 Points


Challenge: Guide the younger children to make healthy choices in the dining hall.


Top tip!: Remind everyone is choosing their lunch about the Nutri-Plate and healthy choices.


Why?: You’ll encourage more people to eat healthily and make the right choices.



Practice Can Make It Delicious : 100 Points


Challenge: Sign up for an after-school healthy cookery club for a half term. 


Top tip!: Find out if your school runs a healthy cookery club and get involved. 


Why?: You’ll learn more not just about what you should eat but also how to make those healthy choices into a delicious meal. 

Nutri-Plate Balance : 150 Points


Challenge: Complete a food diary each day over a week. 


Top tip!: Record what you have eaten in your food diary after every meal. Make sure you put it in the right place on the Nutri-Plate.


Why?: You’ll learn whether you are good at making those healthy choices and see if one part of the nutriplate is too full or another too empty. 

Is Your Favourite Meal Match Nutri-Plate : 50 Points


Challenge: Complete the Nutri-Plate for your favourite meal. 


Top tip!: Think about a meal you have quite often. One that you really enjoy. Once you have one in mind try putting each part of it onto the Nutri Plate. How does it look? Is it balanced? Can you make it more balanced?


Why?: You’ll be able to show how much you know about healthy eating by using the Nutri-Plate for your favourite meal.  

Create Healthy Surroundings : 50 Points


Challenge: Review the school’s tuck shop and ensure it is healthy. 


Top tip!: Check the nutritional information on the back of the packet. It’s often colour coded green means it’s good to go, orange means not too usually, and red means think again. 


Why?: It’s easier to make better choices when we have a wide variety of healthy options. You will be supporting all the other children in your school to make healthy choices.
